The Circumference of the cowl portion measures 43.5". You may choose to manipulate the gauge slightly to modify the circumference to your preference.
HOOK: 10mm crochet hook (or hook size that achieves correct gauge).
YARN: Approximately 325 yards of super bulky (#6) yarn.
GAUGE: 8 stitches & 6 rows = 4”/10cm in half double crochet.

Pattern was easy to read, fun and relatively quick to make. -Not 100% sure on my color choice, though it is pretty it does not show off the patterns beautiful stitch work. - This pattern does a great job explaining the specialty stitches it uses so that those less experienced can still make this beautiful cowl. - I plan on making another one but in solid color to bring out the detail work of the stitches and because my daughter wants one too.
Pattern is easy to follow and worked up quickly.
Love this pattern. Very well written with many pictures for added help. Thick and warm and ready for winter.
