Front Treble Cross (ftrx) (also called Front Cross Treble)
The front treble cross will be worked over 6 stitches. Skip three stitches, treble crochet in the next three stitches. Working in front of the stitches you just made, treble crochet 3 in the three skipped stitches.
Back Treble Cross (btrx) (also called Back Cross Treble)
The back treble cross will be worked over 6 stitches. Skip three stitches, treble crochet in the next three stitches. Working behind the stitches you just made, treble crochet 3 in the three skipped stitches.
To create the textured honeycomb fabric shown in the video, start with a foundation row of half double crochets in any multiple of 12 stitches. Then repeat the row 1-4 sequence below.
Row 1 (RS): Ch2, [ftrx, btrx] across, turn.
Row 2 (WS): Ch1, hdc across, turn.
Row 3 (RS): Ch2, [btrx, ftrx] across, turn.
Row 4 (WS): Ch1, hdc across, turn.
