Stitching into Ribbing

How to crochet into the top edge of ribbing

Once you reach the end of your last row of ribbing, rotate your work so that you will be working along the top edge. For this pattern, it calls for 1 half double crochet per row of ribbing. Chain 1 & stitch 1 half double crochet into each row. Your total number of half double crochets should equal the same number of rows of ribbing. Note: Depending on the pattern you may be required to stitch more that one stitch per row.
