MACHINE KNIT PATTERN

MACHINE KNIT PATTERN: A quick beginner friendly project perfect for practicing latch technique.


KNITTING MACHINE: Bulky knitting machine required (sample was knit with a brother KH230).


SIZES: adult (customizable). For best fit, choose a size 1-2” smaller than head circumference.


SKILL LEVEL: Basic.


MATERIALS:

  • Approximately 70 yards of worsted weight yarn

  • tapestry needle

  • two 3 prong tools.

GAUGE: 19 stitches & 28 rows = 4” set at tension 3

PATTERN NOTES

 
  • The final measurements of the ear warmer should be approximately 20 inches in circumference & 4.25 inches in width after steam blocking. You can easily add or decrease the Row 10-15 repeat in order to make the earwarmer smaller or larger in circumference respectively.

  • The earwarmer was knit on a Bulky Machine (Sample knit with a Brother KH 230)
