BASKET WEAVE EARWARMER
MACHINE KNIT PATTERN: A quick beginner friendly project perfect for practicing latch technique.
KNITTING MACHINE: Bulky knitting machine required (sample was knit with a brother KH230).
SIZES: adult (customizable). For best fit, choose a size 1-2” smaller than head circumference.
SKILL LEVEL: Basic.
Approximately 70 yards of worsted weight yarn
two 3 prong tools.
GAUGE: 19 stitches & 28 rows = 4” set at tension 3
The final measurements of the ear warmer should be approximately 20 inches in circumference & 4.25 inches in width after steam blocking. You can easily add or decrease the Row 10-15 repeat in order to make the earwarmer smaller or larger in circumference respectively.

E-wrap cast on 24 st’s (L12 -0- R12), K1 row. 24Note: Leave a 20 inch tail (this will be used for seaming later) 2-5: k4 rows, reform L6-L9, L2-R2, R7-R10 with a latch tool. 24
6-9: k4 rows, reform L3-L6, R3-R6 with a latch tool. 24Repeat rows 2-9 until you reach row 137. 24
138: k1 row, bind off, weave in ends.
